Introduction
Shri M. D. Shah Mahila College was started in 1968 with only 160 students in Arts Faculty with Gujarati Medium. Presently there are 3200 students studying Undergraduate courses in Arts with four mediums and Commerce with two mediums.
About Us
The college also offers Management and Technology related courses under BMS & BCA. The institute has also setup Post -Graduate courses in Faculty of Arts for Economics & Hindi and Faculty of Commerce for Commerce. The college has a total of 13 departments with Career oriented Programmes & Vocational Courses. College is affiliated with the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, Mumbai. and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act. College Re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade ( C.G.P.A.-3. 03 )
